Ale Super Macht DER 8 (in German, Super 8 with the capacity! ) is a cinematographic movement underground created by padeluun and credit with West Berlin of the end of the year 1970 with the beginning of the year 1980. The title gets along like a slogan of claim in two worms rimant in " … acht". The current asserted an anarchistic vision and Punk of the cinema, through experimental films which was freed from any filmic convention (even for projection since the films could be projected in small unhealthy courses behind a bar!)
Even if this movement did not follow a priori of rule one can however detect some general characteristics, in particular in the exclusive use of the format Super 8 which allowed a relative freedom of creation. The language was generally not very present because the scenario writers (often amateurs) privileged an instinctive and instinctual step, and a visual and sound exploration (great place of the Musique) to free itself from the world and incomprehension. Techniques of manual final improvement of the film (scraping, painting…) were current and the assemblies often very rates/rhythms (what turns into to current a precursor of the Clip) even if the sequence shots also were very snuffed (but often accelerated).
The message was often Politique, attacking in turn with the American Capitalisme or the Communisme, and often showing the ridiculous partition of the Germany at the time (regular presence of the Berlin Wall to the image).
The great majority of films produced during this short period disappeared today. A DVD was recently published in Germany by Schmidt Productions to gather the few films which were preserved:
