Aldine Fakhr , Moslem historian of the 13th century, author of a chronological History of the dynasties , which is only one history of the caliphs until the destruction of the caliphate in 1258. It is preserved in manuscript at the National library of France.

Antoine-Isaac Sylvestre de Sacy gave of them extracts in its Arab Chrestomathie . Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Freytag (Bonn, 1823), Auguste Cherbonneau (Paris, Asian Newspaper ), translated important parts of them.
