Aldebaran Robotics is a French company which currently develops the autonomous robot humanoïde and programmable French Nao, within the framework of the project of the same name (the project Nao ).

Bruno Maisonnier, the founder of Aldebaran Robotics, has been convinced for 25 years of the advent of the era of personal robotics. During these years, it developed prototypes, evaluated technologies, met research teams and analyzed the markets, but also directed companies in multicultural contexts.

The rise to power of portable technologies and the meeting of key people made the adventure possible: It created Aldebaran Robotics in 2005, first French company of robotics humanoïde.

Aldebaran Robotics counts today a team of 20 people which will be gradually reinforced during 2008 and of financial means completely devoted to the development of its first robots.

NAO, the prototype of robot humanoide developed by Adlebaran Robotics were selected by the Robocup international federation like standard platform as from 2008.
