Albita (Albita Rodríguez) is a singer Cuba innate born with Havana in 1962. His/her parents were singers known on the island.

In 1988 it leaves its first album Habrá Música Guajira .

To the beginning of the year 1990 it left in Colombia then settled with Miami.

In 1994 it signs on the label of Emilio Estefan (the husband of Gloria Estefan) and leaves its individual first That Manera de Quererte .

Its song Fiesta Pa' Los Rumberos (El Chico Chevere) belongs to the original soundtrack of the film Danse passion ( Dance With , to see Me) with Vanessa Lynn Williams and Chayanne (1998).
