Albias
Albias is a common French, located in the department of Tarn-et-Garonne and the area the Midday-Pyrenees.
Its inhabitants is called Albiassains.

History
Towards 1150 the Vicomte of Bruniquel created three country house S of which that of Albias which will bear successively the names of “Biaccié”, “Bias”, “Albiassio”, “Albiac”, and finally Albias.At the period Gallo-Roman E: on the current site of Holy-Refines existed a district of the town of Cos which bore the name ibère of Hispalia, city which had at the same time the extent of Toulouse.
The Roman Voie of Cahors in Toulouse passed by Cos.

Between 1561 and 1669: Albias does not escape the wars of religion and on several occasions it was destroyed and rebuilt to reach a population of 1500 inhabitants about 1669.

From 1752: Albias draws its importance from the creation of the layout of the Trunk road 20 current (Paris-Toulouse Spain) which concretizes by the construction of the bridge on the Aveyron of 1757 with 1767. Two months after the end of work the Post office with horses will borrow this new way.
