Alberto Guzman

Alberto Guzman is alive a Péruvien sculptor in France.

Born on September 4th 1927 with Talara with the Peru.

1956 Gold medal at the national school of beautiful arts of Lima. It exposes in this city in 1957 its first sculpture abstracted out of welded iron.

1959 First personal exposure to Instituto de Arte Contemporaneo in Lima.

It gains by contest a purse offered by France to remain in Paris.

1962 Alberto Guzman exposes to “the Latin-American art of Paris” to the Museum of modern art of the town of Paris and to the living room of the Young Sculpture.

1963 Guest in Biennial of Paris.

1965 First exposure to Paris, gallery of Avray.

1966 Guest with the Biennale de Venise.

1967 Prices Andre Knew with the living room of the young sculpture.

1969 Guest with biennial of Antwerp, biennial of Carrara marble and May in Paris.

1970 Guzman seeks to transpose its research in the marble.

1973 Guest with Biennial of Budapest and “Sculptures in mountain” with the Plate of ESA].

1982 Triennial of European sculpture to the large palace in Paris.

1986 It takes part in Biennial of Havana.

Parallel to its work of sculptor of which testify a certain number of monumental works for the city, as well as fountains, Alberto GUZMAN carries out jewels, pieces of furniture and stage sets.
