Albert van Ouwater
Albert van Ouwater is a Dutch painter (1410/1415-1475) - Pupil of the painter Albert Simonsz, Master of Geertgen early Sint Jans, he was a landscape designer appreciated in the tradition haarlémoise of the Primitifs Flemish. The painter Gerard David was probably formed in Haarlem, near him.
The table presented here is preserved at the Gemäldegalerie of Berlin. It is the alone table, known, of Ouwater.
