Albert of Wurtemberg is the ascending direct one of Charles Marie of Wurtemberg. Albert of Wurtemberg belonged to the fifth branch (known as ducal line) of the Maison of Wurtemberg. With the extinction of the elder branch in 1921, with died of Guillaume II of Wurtemberg, the ducal line became the new branch dynaste of the House of Wurtemberg.
