Albert of Stage

Albert of Stage (death v. 1264) was the abbot of the monastery of Stage (towards Hamburg) in 1232.

It is known for its universal Chronicle, the Annales Stadenses , which it started to write in 1240; it is mainly of the interest to use sources now lost. One also allots to him the Troilus , poem Latin in elegiac distiches of more than 5000 worms on the Trojan War.
