Albert Salon

Albert Salon (born the March 12th 1935 with Auxerre) is a Diplomate French, engaged in the related questions with the Francophonie and the defense of the Cultural diversity.

Biographical elements

Albert Salon followed German studies. Former student of the Institute of political studies of Paris, it enters to ENA.

In 1981, it supports a doctorate of arts State in Sorbonne on the topic: “The cultural activity of France in the world. ”

Albert Salon was, in particular, ambassador of France to the Jamaica.

Albert Salon animates many associations. He is administrator French-speaking Friendships of France-Wallonia-Brussels and Cercle Richelieu-Senghor of Paris. Since 1979, he is member of the acadian Amitiés. It takes part in association Défense of the French language, with the Association France-Maurice.

In 1992, it founds association Avenir of the French language, of which he is the president. Avenir of the French language is an association approved by the Ministère of the Culture for its support for the Loi Toubon (1994).

In 2001, he is the founder and the president of the French-speaking Forum international-France (FFI-France).

It is also, in the name of FFI-France, member of the Forum for France, a political regrouping rested by the General Pierre Marie Welsh, initiator of the nuclear deterrent force of France, by the Ambassador of France Pierre Maillard, former diplomatic adviser of the Général de Gaulle, and by Henri Fouquereau, president of the Democratic Mouvement French. It animates a “commission there” where one treats questions of French language and of Francophonie.

Defender of the French language, Albert Salon is also Polyglotte: he speaks, in particular, German, English, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese.

He animates the emission French divides of it every 4 weeks on Radio Courtesy (Monday, 10:45).
