Albert Russell Hand

Albert (Bert) Russell Main is a Australian zoologist , born in 1919 with Perth.
After the Second world war, during which it is used in the body as volunteer then in the Australian air force, it studies with the Université of Chicago thanks to a Bourse Fulbright in 1950. He works in the department of zoology of the Université of Western Australia of 1952 with 1967. He obtains a doctorate in 1956. Of 1967 with 1984, it teaches the zoology. It is made member of the Australian Academy off Science in 1969. He works of 1972 with 1979 at the Australian institute of marine science. Of 1972 with 1985, he is member of the protection service of the environment of Australia, of 1980 with 1983, president of the service of the national parks. It is made order about the British empire in 1981.
