Albert Ketèlbey
Albert William Ketèlbey (* Birmingham, 1875 - † Cowes, 1959) was a Compositeur and Leader English.
Biography
It composed at the eleven years age a sonata for piano which Sir Edward Elgar complimented. He studied with the College of the Trinity with London, and showed a certain talent to be played of a large range of instruments for orchestra. Its practical gifts were undoubtedly thereafter at the origin of its great ease to handle the coloured orchestration.At sixteen years, Ketèlbey became organist of church, and soon pianist in concert, then musical director of the Theater of the Light comedy in London. It continued meanwhile to write any kind of instrumental music and vocal, before being finally success, in 1915, for In the garden of a monastery . The popularity of the compositions which followed, quickly enabled him to be freed from the budgetary constraints. He lived the end of his life on the island of Wight, component and playing Billard. He died on November 26th, 1959 at the 84 years age.

Heritage
On a Persan market was included in the Années 1960 by Duke Reid and the saxophonist Tommy McCook under the title Persian Cat .Serge Gainsbourg also used the music of On a Persan market for its song My lady heroin .
