Albert Jacquard

Biography

Resulting from a catholic and preserving family of Jurassic origin, Albert Jacquard obtained two elementary Mathématiques baccalaureats and Philosophy in 1943. Holder of a doctorate of university of genetics in 1970 and of doctorate of State in human biology in 1972, it was named expert in genetics near the the World Health Organization of 1973 with 1985.

University career and recognition

Albert Jacquard directed itself then towards the university research: he became professor invited to the Université of Geneva of 1973 with 1976, then professor associated with 1976 with 1992. The Université of Paris VI established it 1978 with 1990, and the the University of Louvain in Belgium invited it of 1979 to 1981.

At the time of the legislative elections of June 2007, Albert Jacquard Co-chairs with Axel Kahn the support group of André Aschieri in the 9th district of the Alpes-Maritimes]].
