Albert Hackett
Albert Hackett is a scenario writer and American actor born the February 16th 1900 with New York, New York (the United States), deceased the March 16th 1995 with New York (E. - U.).
Biography
Hackett leave to Hollywood at the end them the Twenties to write the scenario for their first success Up Pops the Devil for Paramount Pictures. In 1933, they sign a contract with MGM and remain with them until 1939. Among their first work, he writes The Thin Man (1934). They are encouraged by the director W.S. Van Dyke to use the book of Dashiell Hammett as only base and to concentrate on the dialogs of the main characters, Nick and Nora Charles (played by William Powell and Myrna Loy). The film was one of best of the year, and the scenario, considered as assembling the modern relations in a realistic way for the first, was regarded as an inauguration. However it is perhaps about only the qu was written and realized before the code of production of Hollywood Production Codes which will cesnura all films mid 1934 until beginning of the year 60.
