Albert Frederic of Prussia , duke of Prussia, (in German Albrecht Friedrich von Preußen), born the May 7th 1553, deceased the August 28th 1618.

Marriage and descent
In 1573, Albert Frederic of Prussia married Marie-Éléonore de Clèves († 1608), (girl of the duke Guillaume de Clèves).

Biography
Albert Frederic accepted a good education. Reached of a major mental derangement, he died the June 27th 1618 without male heir.
With died of the duke Albert Frederic of Prussia, the duchy échut with his/her son-in-law Jean Sigismond de Brandebourg. The Brandebourg and the Prussia formed a simple dynasty forming Brandebourg-Prussia.
Genealogy
Albert Frederic of Prussia belongs to the fifth branch resulting from the first branch of the Maison of Hohenzollern. This fifth line died out with him in 1618.
