Albert François Deriot

Albert-François Deriot was born on January 17th, 1766 with Clairvaux (the Jura) and died on January 30th, 1830 in Paris.

Soldier with the French Guards in 1784, it is Fourrier in 1789 and enters the balanced National guard of Paris. January 1792, it is used for the Army of the Moselle then the Army of North. Several times wounded, he is lieutenant with the 1st battalion of Hunters of Saône-et-Loire. Assistant of the Staff of the Army of the East in 1798, major of the Guides in the place of Deceived in January 1799. Wounded to Saint Jean d' Acre, returns to France in 1801.

Colonel of the 23° of Line in 1802, then deputy governor of Fontainebleau. With the Army of Italy under Molitor in 1805, then in Dalmatie. Admitted with the retirement in 1806. Given in activity in 1808 it joined Lepic in Spain. Baron of the Empire in 1810 and ordering the deposits of the imperial Guard. Sergeant in August 1811.

It belongs to the commission which judges Malet, Lahorie and Guidal in October 1812. Major general in in December 1812 and Chamberlain of the Emperor. During the Hundred Days it orders the 1st division of Young Guard under the walls of Paris, in June 1815. Admitted with the retirement in September 1815
