Albert Denvers
Albert Jérémie Joseph Cornil Denvers (born the February 21st 1905 with Oost-Cappel (Northern) and dead the December 31st 2006), was a Politician French.
Former teacher, it had adhered to SFIO in 1926 to become in 1937, with Roger Salengro, the youngest general adviser of France.
Albert Denvers had been at the origin in 1969 of the creation of the Urban community of Dunkirk, one of the first of France, which it had chaired until 1995.
Interested in the question of the social Housing and in the problems of town planning, he had chaired of 1956 to 1985 the National union of the HLM, and had regretted the error of the " large ensembles" built in the years 1960-70 justified by the urgency at a cheap rate to place tens of thousands of people. It is at the origin of S.A. HLM of North, become Habitat of North.
Impassioned tennis shoe, he was the president-founder of BCM Gravelines.
