Albert Brachet
Albert Auguste All Saints' day Brachet (1869 - 1930) is a Belgian Médecin which hoisted the reputation of the Belgian School of Embryologie on a world level: it called causal embryology, the whole of the phenomena which allow the growth and the organization of the embryo and saw there, from the point of view evolutonnist, the key of the comprehension of the historical embryology, well beyond the only descriptive embryology. He was a brilliant specialist in morphological and embryologic sciences
Former senior (1911-1914) of the Medical college of the Universit3e libre de Bruxelles One knows exceptional talents of experimenter to him and a true vocation of pedagog, one recognized a splendid eloquence to him: it was called: the Jaurès of the anatomy. He becomes foreign member of the Royal Society in 1928.
An avenue also bears its name to Brussels.
