Albert Baert
Albert Baert (1863-1951) is a French architect. Raise Emile Vandenberghe and of Louis Gilquin, it becomes, since 1885, the associate of Charles Boidin and Gilquin.
It built with Boidin the municipal baths of Lille, Dunkirk and Roubaix, as well as villas with Malo-the-Baths, the villa Saint Georges and the modern Dairy with Lambersart, the maconnic Loge of the street Thiers in Lille (Albert Baert was member of the maconnic cabin “the Light of North”), the Galleries inhabitants of Lille and the Hotel with the Caryatids (1899), place of the Republic in Lille.
It was also chagé of the rebuilding of the town of Houplines of 1919 to 1934.
