Albert, duque de Prusia
The National council of Protection of nature ( CNPN ) created in 1978, is an institution attached to the Ministère of Ecology, durable Development and Installation French, charged studying and with delivering an opinion on the projects and legislative texts or lawful concerning the safeguarding of the wild species and natural spaces, in particular the creation of reserves.
The regulation specifies the cases where the CNPN must be consulted, for example when interministerial decrees can have consequences on the fauna and the wild Flore.
