Albatross G.III
The Albatros G.III is an average bomber twin-engine German of the First World War.
Albatross G.I
If the firm Albatros Flugzeugwerke is especially known for its single-seat biplanes, it also built in the 1916 this large biplane bomber equipped with 4 engine Mercedes D I of 100 ch. Les performances were definitely insufficient.
Albatross G.II
Homothetic reduction of the G.I, this single prototype was built in 1916 with 2 engines Benz Bz III of 150 ch. Les performances remained insufficient all the same.
Albatross G.III
Average bomber three-seater twin-engine in the continuity of the G.I and G.II, it was a biplane with not shifted unequal wings, whose engines installed in the wing gap actuated pusher airscrews. To advance the engines the higher plan was cut out with the right of the passage ds propellers. The prototype was completed at the end of 1916 and one small series with engines Benz Bz IVa was carried out to equip in 1917 the KG6, operative in Macedonia.
