Albatross C.IX
The Albatros C.IX is a two-seater biplane of recognition of the First World War .
This curious apparatus carrying designation manufacturer Albatros L.23 combined a fuselage of D.II slightly lengthened to install an observer behind the pilot with an aerofoil whose higher plan showed marked an enough arrow. Three prototypes were built at the end of 1916 with an engine Mercedes D III.
Second Albatross C.IX was used by Manfred von Richthofen during the summer 1917 for a `turned of the cookings'.
