Albéric Clement
Albéric Clement , Marshal of France.
He is wire of Robert III, Gouverneur of Philippe Auguste in 1168, of a family of Gâtinais, and Hersende de Mez (later Mez it Maréchal) with Dordives (Loiret), which he inherits the seigniory. Nephew of Garmand, bishop of Auxerre, it is made Marshal of France by Philippe Auguste towards 1190 according to the registers of Philippe Auguste and king and Marshal of France not, like writes the Daniel father. This confusion holds owing to the fact that it does not order as a chief an army at the time of the head office of Midsummer's Day d' Acre.
He dies in Saint-Jean-in Acre at the time of the Third crusade, the July 3rd 1191. He is probably buried with the abbey of Cercanceaux, in Souppes. Without alliance, he is the brother of Henri Ier Clément.
