Alaudidae
Of the alaudidés (or Alaudidae ) belongs to the class of the Oiseau X and to Passériformes.
It includes/understands the lark S, the Ammomane S, the Sirli S, the Moinelette S (in the past called lark-sparrows) and the Cochevis.
Its surface of distribution goes from the Ethiopian zone to the Australasian zone, while passing by the palearctic one and at the Eastern zone , only one species ( Eremophila alpestris ) reached the zone Néarctique.
Biology
They are terrestrial birds of small size to average (from 10 to 23 cm), whose dull plumage generally presents brownish colors or chamois. The nail of the posterior toe is usually long and right, and the nozzle is extremely variable in the face and form according to the species.This family is characteristic of the arid or semi-arid regions, populating the zones discovered or cultivated.
