Alanine amino transférase
The alanine amino transférase (ALAT or ALT) is a Enzyme () belonging to the Transaminase S whose activity is measured in clinical biology at the time of the hepatic assessment. It is in significant amount especially in the Foie. Its increase in the Blood plasma sign a hepatic Cytolysis.
Alanine amino transférase is able to transfer the grouping amine from the Glutamic acid on the pyruvic acid with formation of a α-cetoglutaric Molécule from acid (a α-ketonic Acide) and from Alanine (another acid α-amino) according to:
The value of reference is lower than 65 U/l.
