Alan Menken
Alan Menken , born the July 22nd 1949 with New Rochelle is an American type-setter
He is famous inter alia for the partition of the Musical comedy of Frank OZ, the Small shop of the horrors , like for the original soundtracks of many cartoons produced by Disney such as the small siren , Aladdin , the beautiful one and the animal , Hercules and Pocahontas .

During its career it was nominated fifteen times at the Oscars and eight gained some. It is thanks to the song of the film the beautiful one and the animal ( Beauty and the beast ) interpreted by Céline Dion and Beaba Bryson that it gains the Oscar of the best song. Celine Dion and Peaba Bryson will interpret this song with the Oscars 1992.
