Alan Lewis

David Alan Lewis , born on June 1st 1964 with Cork, is a international referee Irish of Rugby to XV.

He was international player of Cricket, 122 selections with his credit. He is director of an insurance company.

Career of referee

He began his career from referee of Rugby to XV in 1989 whereas he still played cricket with high level. A wound which has occurred in 1997 has constrained it to be devoted to the arbitration.

He arbitrated its first international match the May 4th 1994, he acted of a match opposing the Germany to the Russia.

Alan Lewis in particular arbitrated a match of the World cup of Rugby 2003, six matches of the Tournoi of the six nations and a match of the Tri-nations (to the 30-07-06).
