Alan-Joseph Raude
Alan-Joseph Raude , alias Ron Peniarth , (1923 -) is a linguist.
He carries out his studies, until the beginning of the higher learning, with Paris. In 1939, it attends the practical École of the high studies, with the Sorbonne. It is interested consequently in linguistics Celtique (the Breton, the Welsh and the Vieil Irish). In 1942 - 1943, it integrates a research team folk into the Musée of arts and traditions popular with Jef Penven, Rene-Yves Creston.
In 1945, it is Sergent - interprets in the Welsh Guards, in Germany. It is registered in 1946 with the Université of Bonn to the courses of Celtic, Germanic and Romance linguistics. He is technical translator with the Technical center of agricultural mechanization, with Paris, in 1948, then with the iron and steel Information center in 1950, then with the company IBM in 1953. In 1953, it takes part in the Gorsedd of Brittany and enters in dissidence (it seems to be excluded by François Taldir-Jaffrenou). He becomes countable director with the Coopérative farmers with Landerneau in 1961. In 1980, relations were joined again with the Gorsedd of Brittany. It returned to the Large-Druid the banner of Gorsedd and the Large Sword of Arthur which it had held for twenty-six years. Named Arouezvarzh , he however abstained from taking part in any ceremony. The scission of 1953 was however regarded as of as finished.
It writes to it chronic “ Brittany Romane ” in the review of the federation Kendalc' H. He is the creator of the standardized writing of the Gallo (ELG). He is member of Ar Falz.
