Contribution in sociology

Following the crisis of May 68, he diagnoses the transition from a pure economic domination towards a cultural domination: the opposition between proletarians and middle-class man the opposition between those which have know-how and those would replace whose position in the media system ensures a broad influence. It was interested in the social movements of beginning of the year 70 (feminist, regionalistic movements…), and sought to know if these social demonstrations could be perceived like new social actors in fight against the elements of domination. He however never regarded these movements as being the fundamental actors of the post-industrial company.
