Biography

A difficult youth

Alain Soral lived in the city of Merlettes with Annemasse in his childhood, during which it was beaten by his father. Its family having moved in with Meudon when it was 12 years old, it is registered with the college Stanislas.

To its majority, it returns to Paris and saw two years of “odd jobs” (building sites, convoyings, etc), before being received with the Art schools.

It then was collected in a family of academics and is allowed as training pupil with the EHESS where it follows the courses of Cornelius Castoriadis.

The reading of Karl Marx and the Marxist authors - and more particularly Georg Lukacs, Walloon Henri, Georges Politzer, Lucien Goldmann and Michel Clouscard - deeply influenced in its writings.

He works in journalism starting from 1979.

The writer

Following its studies, it published two books popularizing the fashion ( Movements of mode explained to the parents , 1984) then the dredger of street ( Sociologie of the dredger , 1996) and which are a certain success.

Writer, it is presented in the form of a republican universalist, having belonged to the Marxist movement and, at the beginning of the Années 1990, to the French Communist party (Paul-Langevin cell), which it leaves in opposition to the abandonment of his revolutionary contents, while persisting in being defined as Marxist. He pourfend in his books as he judges to raise of the communautarism and highly takes of it as well with the homosexual movements or feminist that with associations saying itself representative of the Jewish community, in terms which want to be provocative (and that he asserts besides itself like such). He in particular wrote: “In France, all the communautarisms rising: gay, Islamic… are created and are reinforced by imitation, hostility and opposition to the communautarism judéo-Zionist, whose privileged statute constitutes Community jurisprudence on which rest their claims vis-a-vis the Republic. ” On this subject, it prefaces in 2006 the work of Anne Kling, France LICRAtisée , showing the Licra to take part of this “communautarism judéo-Zionist”. For Alain Soral, the rise of the communautarisms in France is dangerous for the République and constitutes an attack with the principle of republican Universalité.

In its analysis of the contemporary company, it dismounts the mechanisms of what it calls the “company of the desire”, promoted by the omnipresence of the Publicité the female, newspapers and the phenomenon of “starisation”. He highly criticized the publications of female monthly magazines which, according to him, transform the consciences and relegate the woman to the statute of consuming “woman as an object”. Alain Soral is in addition very critical of the evolution of the French cinema since the New wave. Criticism of the “ambient silly thing” upon the engagement with the National front

After the exit of its last novel, Fall! : Praise of disgrace , the April 6th 2006, Soral affirms to want to temporarily take distance with the writing to plunge itself in the action, in particular political. 27 with the August 30th 2006, it thus forms part - with Dieudonné, Thierry Meyssan, Ahmed Moualek (president of association the suburbs expresses himself), Marc Robert and Frederic Chatillon (a former head of the Groupe union defense in the Années 1990) - of the delegation which goes to the Lebanon then in Syria. In March 2007, he admitted having voted for Jean-Marie Le Pen with the two turns of the French presidential election of 2002, after being tempted to vote for Jean-Pierre Chevènement with the first turn.

The February 24th 2007, it engages politically in the French presidential campaign of Jean-Marie Le Pen while being present at the sides of this one and its daughter Marine Le Pen, with the presidential convention of the National front. It would have been in addition one of the authors of the speech of Valmy, pronounced by the president of the National front with Valmy the September 20th 2006.

The March 8th 2007, the candidate of the Communist revolutionary league, Olivier Besancenot, refuses to discuss with him during the emission of the March 11th of Ripostes , presented by Serge Moati. In an official statement, he is explained some as follows:

“With Soral, it cannot act to organize a political discussion, to exchange argument against argument. Soral does not represent a political or ideological current. It is a former intellectual of left which has turned out badly was put at the service of the extreme right-hand side. It is an agitator who instead of discussing practical the lie and the insult. He says for example on his blog: " I hate the trotsko-gauchisme" and " Besancenot does not have a couilles". This level, any comprehensible discussion, which makes it possible to the televiewer to determine the divergences, is impossible. Since we were in the obligation to discuss with the FN, we asked Ripostes to invite one of its official leaders, which was made in the person of Louis Aliot. ”

Alain Soral reacts to this “desinvitation” and with the remarks of Olivier Besancenot in a discussion with the blog of the book They killed the public TV then via a video on Dailymotion and finally out of an official statement on its site:

“to justify its coward attitude (see Soral Counteracts ), the small factor Besancenot sore allots two sentences to me which it would have found (sic) on my blog: " I hate the trotsko-gauchisme" (actually I mistake it, but the sentence is not invented of it) and " Besancenot does not have a couilles" (what is true but I never neither said it nor written).

the lie and handling are definitely what remains of more long-lived in the political tradition trotskist. In the past this practice was not with the service of the revolutionary combat - already debatable justification -, today it is not any more but with the service of the System, which makes it all the more contemptible.

To the wise…”

The April 22nd 2007, at the time of the electoral evening room Equinox after the Net retreat of Jean-Marie Le Pen at the conclusion of the first turn of the presidential election, Alain Soral, obviously disappointed, declares: “Le Pen deserved France but I am not sure that France deserved Le Pen” and announces that it will vote Ségolène Royal. Although he recognizes his “économico-social” program (in particular the protectionist share of this one, the candidate of UMP having on several occasions evoked the need for a “community preference”) in that of Nicolas Sarkozy who “would have plagiarized it” (“When he speaks about his project to gain the second round, it is to 90% the program of the Face, and EC campaign programs it… ”), he affirms that he will not apply this “patriotic” program, the candidate being according to him “liberal-sedentary”: “This type cannot be at the same time the agent of all the international financial lobbys most powerful and, at the same time, somebody who will make a patriotic economy. It is incompatible. ”

Parallel to his engagement with the FN, Alain Soral launched in June 2007 his own movement, called Égalité and reconciliation, around people eager to gather the social patriots with the center and beyond the National front.

The November 18th 2007, at the time of the national congress of the National front which was held with Bordeaux, Alain Soral, elected in 108e position, was named at the Central committee by Jean-Marie Le Pen, was re-elected President of the party.

Polemics

Alain Soral and “gay communautarism”

Association Act Up was caught some at its publisher, the editions Blanche, which it reproached the publication of several authors, among which Alain Soral, spreading negative prejudices towards the homosexual and even, according to it, “the hatred of homosexual”. It thus intervened so that its publication director ceases publishing Alain Soral. Act Up also vandalisé the buildings of the Editions White, in protest against its leading line. Alain Soral denounces the Communautarisme - that it estimates harmful - “gay community”, term which it fustigates besides by affirming that the majority of homosexual have nothing to do with the behaviors of style Gay Pride . This kind of demonstration would have according to him for consequence to promote the idea of “beautiful guy”, youth, festivals and drag queen , and to occult the reality of homosexuality, in particular that of homosexual old and poor, nowhere proposed in the “movement gay communautarist”, and finally nearer to the heterosexuals in the same situation.

Alain Soral and feminists

Author of Towards feminization? Disassembling of an antidemocratic plot , Alain Soral wire-drawer that the women always worked (Commerce, Agriculture), except in the highest social classes. They would have invented the Féminisme by lassitude of their condition of mother. The development of the Tertiary sector would massively have contributed to allow their entry on the job market. Soral considers some more or less male Homosexualité like the consequence of the “hysterical” character of a type of “mad” feminism, this one preventing the seduction of an unknown girl by a man, for example in the street, the image of the dredger returning from now on to that of the machist.

He affirms that the “release” of the women and that of homosexual are historically bound by an objective alliance, asserted by associations like Act Up. It is a fact that he denounces like unhappy. The detractors of Soral show it Misogynie or of “Homophobie” but the author always defended himself some (all while saying “macho” by provocation, the term having been positively redefined by him).

Alain Soral and Dieudonné

In 2002, is before the legal problems of Dieudonné, Alain Soral, in his Abécédaire of the ambient silly thing , devoted a very virulent entry to the humorist, whom he then shows to want to be given a “revenue of culpabilisation victimaire” whose “white” French would be, according to Soral, the victims. He adds in addition:

“If Dieudonné is irritated on the French rabble, (...) it is perhaps because it itches to him to show to finger the community logically indicated by his claim of a righter representation of the " communities visibles" ? However, at the time of the business of the polemical sketch of Dieudonné in the emission of Marc-Olivier Fogiel One cannot like everyone , Soral defended the humorist and the two men forgot their ideological divergences then.

In a report of Complement of investigation diffused on France 2 Monday September 20th 2004 and devoted to Dieudonné, Alain Soral declares at the sides of the humorist:

These remarks create a controversy and are judged anti-semites by many observers, of which representatives of the electoral roll Euro-Palestine, to which it had given its support. The September 24th 2004, Alain Soral comments, on the site Oumma.com, the controversy caused by its remarks explaining why it was badly included/understood, because of absence of the matter preceding this sentence in the assembly by maintenance a one hour and half realized by the journalist of France 2, Cyrille Devaud, and that one sought his “media death”.

Following this diffusion, Tuesday September 28th 2004, it and several other people were victims of an aggression coming from a group of a score of armed individuals of beaters of baseball, during a meeting of dedication of Misères of the desire in the bookstore With the land of plenty located in the 3 {{E}} district of Paris. The aggression was not asserted. Alain Soral sees an action of an extremist group there like the Bétar or the Ligue of Jewish defense, but to date the police investigation did not succeed.

Questioned on the positive side of the “boycott” of the media, Alain Soral answered:

“positive it is that one is more obliged to go to make malicious service in emissions with the idiot. As for the parade, in the actual position of the things there is only one of them, to multiply this kind of interview on Internet I always answered present at the invitations of the media, even worst, thinking that what counted it was not the supposed prestige of the support, but the quality of my reasoning. ”

Alain Soral gave his support for Dieudonné, with which it took part in the Euro-Palestine list with the European elections of 2004, before withdrawing itself and involving Dieudonné in his withdrawal.

Alain Soral and “extreme line”

In 2005, Alain Soral granted a maintenance to the “two-monthly European revolutionary Socialist” Rébellion .
