Alain Seban

Alain Pierre Seban is a French senior official, born the July 15th 1964 with Toulouse. He is currently president of the Center Georges-Pompidou.

Graduate of the Polytechnic school, ENSAE and ENA, it is named listener with the Council of State in 1991.

He is promoted Master of the requests in 1994 and is named with the cabinet of Philippe Douste-Blazy, Minister for the Culture the following year. Reinstated in the Council of State in 1997, it occupies various stations until the elections of 2002.

It is then selected like operations manager with the cabinet of the minister Dominique de Villepin and becomes director of the development of the media to the Ministère of the Culture (attached to the services of the Prime Minister) of September 2002 in March 2005 then to advise for education and the culture with the Elysium.

He was also lecturer to ENA of 1996 to 1999.

He replaces Bruno Racine with the presidency of the Center Georges-Pompidou in April 2007.
