Born the March 28th 1952 with Boulogne-Billancourt, Alain Sarde is one of the producing S French most prolific since the Années 1970.

It started with Andre Techine and was, at the sides of its collaborator Christine Gozlan, the producer of more than 200 Film S with number of directors such as Jean-Luc Godard, Bertrand Tavernier, Claude Sautet, Roman Polanski, Nicole Garcia, Coline Serreau, Jacques Doillon, Alain Corneau, Bertrand Blier, etc

Its last productions are the fruit of collaborations with Amos Kollek, Mike Leigh, Emir Kusturica and David Lynch.

Founder of the structures Sara Films then the Films Alain Sarde , he is from now on independent producer.

His/her brother is the type-setter Philippe Sarde.
