Alain Laubreaux

Alain Laubreaux (or Alin Laubreaux) (1899-1968), Journalist and writer French. He filled with the weekly magazine I am everywhere the function of drama critic, while covering political subjects occasionally. He was pre-war period the secretary of Henri Béraud.

Condemned to died by Contumacious in 1945 for its participation in a newspaper collaborationnist, it took refuge in Spain with the Libération.

Anecdote

During the Occupation, Alain Laubreaux was struck publicly by Jean Marais, which in particular reproached him for having éreinté the part the Typewriter , of Jean Cocteau. The anecdote inspired freely the scene of the film the Last Subway, where the actor interpreted by Gerard Depardieu strikes the critic of I Am Everywhere incarnated by Jean-Louis Richard.
