Alain Lambert

Biography

In 1983, it engages in policy and becomes city council man of opposition of Alençon, then general adviser of the Orne and regional of Basse-Normandie.

Mayor of Alençon (of 1989 with 2002) and Senator of the Flowering ash (1992/June 2002), member of the Committee of supply and group of the center Union, he was initially rapporteur of the budget of justice, then general reporter of the Budget in 1995, and finally president of the Committee of supply in October 1998. With Didier Migaud, it is one of the fathers of LOLF, new device budgetary the purpose of which is to lay down objectives at the action of the State.

There resigns of its functions to become deputy secretary with the Budget in 2002, remaining only president of the Urban community of Alençon. During its passage to the government, he announces that the reduction of the Budget deficit is its single priority. He finds his post of senator in 2004.
