Alain IX of Rohan

Alain IX of Rohan , wire of Alain VIII of Rohan, Viscount of Rohan of 1429 to its death in 1462, count de Porhoët, Viscount of Leon, baron of the Bridge-Castle, lord of Boundary-line-on-Andelle, lord of the Bridge-Saint-Pierre, lord of Radepont and lord of Garnache.

It establishes iron and steel industry not far from the castle of Pontivy. The forging mills of the Rooms are testimony today.
