Alain Giresse
Alain Giresse, born the August 2nd 1952 with Langoiran, is old a Football or French which played as a medium ground in particular with the Girondins of Bordeaux and in team of France with which it will gain the Euro 1984 in France. He is reconverted today at the post of trainer.
Career (player)
Alain Giresse carried out the essence of his career within the Girondins of Bordeaux, before finishing it with the Olympique of Marseilles at the beginning of the era Tapie.Native of the the Gironde, it is trained by the Girondins of Bordeaux and makes his beginnings in championship of France in 1970. Career (trainer)
After his career of footballer, Alain Giresse decides to become trainer, it makes his beginnings in 1995 on the bench of the Toulouse FC, it remains two years and half there before joining the club of the capital the Paris SG in 1998, but after one surprising elimination in Coupe of the Cuts against the Maccabi Haïfa and a catastrophic beginning of championship, it will be dislocated of its functions three months only after its arrival. It turns over then to the Toulouse FC without much success either during nine months.In 2001, it takes then the direction of the Morocco and becomes the trainer of FAR Rabat until in 2003, but will gain one trophy: the Cut of the throne 2003.
It is found then without club and turns to the national selections, it then joined the team of Georgia but in front of the difficulty in managing a small country and without real prospect for qualification to a final stage, there will remain only one year. In March 2006, it takes in hand the selection of Gabon.
