From 1971, it produces and present emissions on the Jazz on France Musique and France Culture . Following Lucien Malson, it supervises the weekly emission " Black And Blue" who endeavors to comment on the Jazz in all his states. It is surrounded by regular speakers like the saxophonist Jean-Louis Chautemps and the beater Georges Paczynski. The amateur remembers his radiophonic part on Billie Holiday " a Bird with the plumage of smoke " and of the many series of emissions which it devotes in the emissions " the Time of the Musicians " and " the Jazz is a Roman " with the great names of the Jazz, To ballast Young, Sony Rollins, Chet Baker, Louis Armstrong, Clifford Brown, Bill Evans… Its talents of writer and storyteller give to his emissions a great artistic quality and made it possible many listeners to nourish their passion for the Jazz.

After many tests on the Jazz, it launches out in the novel-jazz with Chet in 2001. The musician becomes character of novel and more object of analysis. The impression of proximity, of intimacy with the character is more important with this new process of writing. The novel takes as a starting point the actual facts and the author, in spite of the share of imagination of the writing, applies to being with closest to possible truths to the musician. He proceeds in the same romantic way with Louie (2002), Charlie (2005) and Lady Day: History of loves (2005).

This series of novels devoted to the large characters of the jazz should not however not make forget the former books. What seems characteristic To stack, it is the completely personal mixture of sympathy, in the etymological sense of the term, for people with the precarious destiny, of wild imagination, colourful characters and of a dazing vocabulary. Its books are truffles of unforgettable scenes, witnesses the end of the " Small chairs of Myrtiosa" and that of the news " On the shoulder of the monde" in " Days of wine and roses".
