Alain Devaquet

Alain Devaquet is a Politician French, born the October 4th 1942 with Raon-l' Étape in the department of the the Vosges.

Biography

Political career

Former student of the National university of Saint-Cloud, incorporated and doctor be-sciences, Alain Devaquet is also chemistry teacher at the university and the Polytechnic school.

He enters to the RPR in 1977, where he is quickly in charge with research and energy.

He was Député of Paris of 1978 to 1981 then of 1988 to 1997. He was Maire 11 {{E}} district of Paris of 1983 to 1995.

With the government

He is especially known by his passage to the Gouvernement Jacques Chirac (2) of the first Cohabitation. At that time, he was deputy secretary near the Minister for State education, in charge with the Research and the Higher education of the March 20th 1986 with the December 8th 1986.
