Alain Cordier
Born in 1954. Alain Cordier is graduate Institut of political studies of Paris, laid off Economy and DEA of the Practical Ecole of the High Studies.
In 1978, it is in charge of Studies to the General secretary of Gouvernement, then operations manager at the Management of the Forecast to the Ministry for the Économie and the Finances. It becomes responsible for the forecast of the accounts of the Health insurance in 1983.
In May 1986, it is named with the Public assistance - Hospital of Paris, as Financial Conseiller with the Cabinet of the Managing director then Directeur of Finances. He becomes Managing director in January 1993.
He joined Bayard Presse in September 1997 as a President of the directory. While arriving at " Croix" , he believed in the future of this catholic daily newspaper although much regarded it as a daily newspaper in bankruptcy because too much politicized. He did of them one of the rare French daily newspapers which does not know the decline. He supported his Editor association, Bruno Frappat, when this last, came from the daily newspaper " Le Monde " , decides to make pass the daily newspaper of the evening in a newspaper of the morning. The bet is a success.
Alain Cordier is named general inspector of Finances by the French government in 2005.
