Alain Bravo

Alain Bravo is a Entrepreneur French born in 1945. It is currently Managing director of Supélec and President of Abhexis.

Biography

Alain Bravo is graduate Polytechnic school and 3Ecole Nationale Sup3erieure of telecommunications.

From 1970 to 1985, he worked with the Head office of Telecommunications. He becomes director of production in 1980 there. In 1985, it joined the General Compagnie of Water. Named executive vice president of division cable television two years later, it creates and chairs, in parallel, the French company of Radiotelefony (SFR). It will leave the presidency of SFR in 1992. From 1991 to 1993, it directs the General Company of Videocommunications. In 1994, it is named director with the General Company of Water, posts that it will leave one year later.

In 1995, Alain Bravo creates Siris, today Neuf Cegetel. In parallel, it joined Alcatel as a President of Division Mobile networks. He becomes Directeur of Research and Technology in 1998 and leaves Alcatel in 2001.

He creates in 2001 Abhexis. For this reason, it directed the operation FutuRIS with the Technological National association of Research (ANRT) of February 2003 in April 2004.

It currently chairs the Domestic network of research in telecommunications (RNRT), the advisory Commission of the networks and telecommunication services near the Ministère of Industry and ARCEP, the N+i network of schools of engineers, and the Company of Electricity, the Communication and Electronics and Information Technologies (SEE). He is Publication director of the REE (Re-examined Electricity and Electronics), published by the SEE. He is managing director of Supélec since 2004.
