Alain Beaulieu
Alain Beaulieu (born in 1962) is a writer Québécois.
He publishes initially Nouvelle S in the review STOP of Montreal, then five novels with the editions Quebec America: Insane-Bar in 1997, the Last Bed in March 1998, the Son lost in November 1999, and the Solo of Andre in 2002, a novel for the youth which appears in the prize list 2002-2003 of the organization Communication-youth. Heading the Player of skittles , its fifth novel appears in March 2004. It is found in nomination for the Prix of the five continents of the francophonie, for the Prix of the Town of Quebec/International fair of the book of Quebec and for the Prix of the subscribers of the Library of Quebec.
Its novel for youth With the doors of Orientie appears with the autumn 2005. This book gained the Price Town of Quebec - International fair of the book of Quebec 2006, youth category. The second volume of this series entitled Under the sun of Port-with-prince appeared in April 2007.
In October 2006, it publishes Cadillac white of Bernard Pivot, a literary plot joining together of the Québécois and French writers in a restaurant of Paris. This novel deserved the Price Town of Quebec - International fair of the book of Quebec 2007.
He wrote for the theater Totem planted any eighth note and Tant worse , a part which was read with the Théâtre of Today of Montreal in December 2002. Its part entitled Materna was put in public reading at the Theater Periscope in December 2005.
Alain Beaulieu is professor at the department of the literatures of the Université Laval with Quebec.
