Alain-Jacques Valleron

Alain-Jacques Valleron (born the August 24th 1943) is professor of epidemiology and biostatistic with the Université Pierre and Marie Curie and member of the Academy of Science. It is responsible for the unit of public health at the Saint-Anthony hospital in Paris.

He was researcher with the Inserm of 1966 to 1981. Professor the biomathématiques ones with the University Paris 7 of 1981 to 1991, he is professor of public health to the Université Paris 6 since 1991.

He directed the research unit " Biomathématiques and biostatistiques" of Inserm (1981-1995), the center co-operator of data on epidemiology of the human immunodéficience (1988-1991), the research unit " Epidemiology and sciences of the information" of Inserm of 1995 to 2004.

Alain-Jacques Valleron is former student of the science Polytechnic school and doctor.
