Allan " Al" MacInnis (born the July 11th 1963 with Port Hood city of the Nova Scotia with the Canada) is a player of reprocessed Hockey professional which played 23 seasons in the National league of hockey for the Flames of Calgary and the Blues of Saint-Louis. He is recognized like one of the largest defender of the history.

Career of player

Defender high-speed motorboat recognized for the power of throw-struck sound, Al MacInnis was fished out 15th on the whole by the Flames of Calgary to the RepĂȘchage of entry in the LNH 1981. He began his career at the professionals in 1981 with the Flames and gained with the latter the Coupe Stanley in 1989, deserving at the same time the TrophĂ©e Idiot Smythe. He left the Flames later and signed as free agent without compensation with the Blues of Saint-Louis, for the beginning of the season 1994-95.

One of the rare defenders to have cumulated: 1000 points in career, MacInnis withdrew competition the September 9th 2005, after having missed nearly two complete seasons because of a wound then because of the lockout which cancelled all the Saison LNH 2004-05. Its number 2 was withdrawn by the Blues the April 9th 2006.

During its career, MacInnis known mainly for its throw-was struck devastator. During contest of skill preceding the Match by Stars of 2000, it gained the contest of the most powerful shooting for one 4th consecutive year; it gained the contest 7 times in career. November 12th, 2007, it allowed with the Temple of is re-elected hockey as a player in company of Scott Stevens, Ron Francis and Mark Messier.
