Al-Mutawakkil III

Al-Mutawakkil III (Arab: mutawakkil rear RTL متوكّل: who makes confidence (with God)) or Muḥammad Al-Mutawakkil `alā Allah (Arab: rear RTL محمدالمتوكلعلىالله).

The Abbasid last Caliph , his/her father Al-Mustamsik gave the capacity to him in 1509.

The sultan Mamelouk Al-Achraf Qânsûh Al-Ghûri lost the Bataille of Marj-Dabiq (Turkish: Mercidabik, Arabic: مرجدابيق dābīq, meadows sticky ) with the surroundings of Alep (Syria) against the Othoman sultan Selim I {{er}}. Abbasid caliph Al-Mutawakkil III is made there prisoner. The last sultan Mameluke is carried out on April 13rd by Selim Ist caliph Al-Mutawakkil abdicated in favor of his father Al-Mustamsik. This last gave in the hands of Selim the badges of the capacity califal. Al-Mutawakkil III died in 1543 with Istanbul.
