Akunyili gilded

Gilded Nkem Akunyili , born the July 14th 1954 with Makurdi with the Nigeria, is the director of the National agency of control of food and the drugs ( National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control , NAFDAC) to the Nigeria. She was recognized internationally for her work against the Médicament S of Contrefaçon and was rewarded on several occasions. She was professor of pharmacology to the Enugu campus of the Université of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN).

Biography

Gilded was born on July 14th, 1954 with Makurdi in the Benue with the Nigeria. Girl of the chief Paul Young Edemobi, it grew in a family Catholique praticante. It Marie with Doctor J.C. Akunyili, with which it has 6 children.

It obtains a diploma, B.Pharm, in Pharmacie in 1978 and Ph.D. in 1985 with the UNN. It makes then a post-doctorate with the Université of London in 1989. In 1995, Dora becomes special Secrétaire of the Funds oil for the assistance with stripped. It becomes professor with the UNN in 2000 and director of the NAFDAC in 2001.
