Akregator

Akregator is a reader of flow RSS integrated into KDE and available as a module of Kontact. This software is available under license LPG. Akregator manages flows RSS and Atom. These flows can be sorted by category; Akregator will incorporate all of the same category in only one list of new entries: all entries of the " category; Politique" , for example, will appear at the same place. It has an incremental research which makes it possible to seek among all the entries of a category, or whole base.

The interval of cooling of flows can be configured manually. The user can also choose to update all flows, a flow in particular, or all flows of a category. Akregator can assign an icon with each flow, and show the HTML of the entries using an integrated navigator KHTML. One can also choose to rather open these entries in an external navigator Web.

Akregator is an official part of KDE since version 3.4, and is distributed in the module Kdepim.
