Akiko Morigami

Akiko Morigami (born the January 12th 1980 with Ōsaka) is a player of Tennis Japan ease, Professionnel since January 1998.

In May 2006, with the 1st turn of Roland Garros, it has surprised in two sets the Russian Nadia Petrova (3rd head of series).

At the time of edition 2007 of Wimbledon where it left Dinara Safina to the 2nd turn, it was noticed that it was, behind Amélie Mauresmo and Justine Hénin, the player who generally went up to the net.

Akiko Morigami proposes a resolutely offensive tennis and still relatively singular, playing two hands on the two sides in bottom of short - on this subject, its right blow is connected more with a reverse on the level of the catch - but not hesitating to play hand with the net.
