Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad

Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP, Hindi for the Council of all the students of India), is a political party of Indian youth drawing its inspiration of the Indian nationalist movement Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. The ABVP was founded in 1948 and formally registered the July 9th 1949. ABVP is it “more Grande Organization of Student in the World,” with 1400 000 members inscript for the academic year 2006-2007.

The emblem of ABVP means unit, strength of character and knowledge.
