Akavir
Akavir is one of the continents of the fictitious world of Nirn, in the series of Video games The Elder Scrolls.
Akavir is located at the east of Tamriel, across the ocean Padomaïque. The two continents share a long story, a history made up of innumerable wars.
If Tamriel failed well to conquer Akavir under the reign of Uriel Septim V two centuries ago, Akavirois de Tsaesci can be praised to have straightforwardly controlled Tamriel during 400 years at the time of the 2nd Era. Still today, one finds of them traces in the culture tamriellienne, in particular in the field of weapons (tanto, katana, dai-katana, etc).
One knows few things about Akavir, if not that the continent is divided into four kingdoms:
- Kamal: the kingdom of the demons, perpetually plunged in one quasi-polar winter. Kamal means " literally; the hell of the neiges". The demons live there by whole armies. Each summer, they de-ice and attack Tang Mo, but the man-monkeys always succeeded in pushing back them. Formerly, Ada' Soom Dir-Kamal, king of the demons, tried to conquer Morrowind, but Almalexia and the Under-King overcame it with the scarlet Mount.
-
Tang Mo: a populated island of man-monkeys. Tang Mo means " the island to the thousand singes". There exist many species of man-monkeys, being able to be brave or simple of spirit (some being even completely insane). They are able to constitute a powerful army if need be because, at one time or another, all the nations of Akavir tried to invade them in order to reduce them in slavery. They do not know if they more hate the man-snakes or the demons, although they have tendency to lean for the first when them the question is asked. Although the man-tigers of Ka Po' Tun formerly were their enemies, the two races are from now on allied.

Tsaesci : historically, perhaps the most powerful nation of Akavir. The man-snakes of Tsaesci have the seizure on the seas akaviroises. Tsaesci means " palate of the serpents". This nation was most powerful of Akavir before the arrival of the Tiger-Dragon. Tsaescis devoured all the men of Akavir a long ago, but they still have an about human aspect. They are large, beautiful although alarming, covers of gilded scales, and immortal. They reduced in slavery the goblins of the close islands, which they make work without slackening, send to the combat in their place, and devour on the occasion. Their grounds are extremely wide. The inhabitants of Tamriel think wrongly that all Akavirois are man-snakes, because the latter controlled the empire cyrodilien during four centuries at the time of the second era. The last of them was Versidue-Shae, assassinated by Morag Tong.

Ka Po'Tun : l'" Worsen of the Tiger-Dragon" , The cat-like beings which live there are controlled by divine Tosh Raka, the Tiger-Dragon. Their empire is from now on very wide and more powerful than that of Tsaesci, except on the seas. After having devoured all the human ones, the man-snakes tried to make undergo the same fate with the dragons. They succeeded in reducing the red dragons in slavery, while the blacks fled until what was then Po Tun. A Great War was followed from there, which was completed by the eradication of the dragons and strongly weakened snakes and tigers. For this time, the man-tigers have sought to become the dragons. Tosh Raka is the first to be arrived there. It is the largest dragon which is in the world, striped of orange and black, and its ideas are as many as innovative. Its goal is to unify by the Akavir force while starting by killing if necessary all the snakes vampires, before invading Tamriel and becoming finally the Emperor of the two Continents which its predecessors dreamed to be…
