K |} Aitné , Aïtné or Aetna (J XXXI Aitne) is the moon of Jupiter. She was discovered in 2001 (from where her temporary designation S/2001 J 11). She belongs to the Groupe of Carmelite friar, made up of the moons irregular and retrograde which orbit Jupiter enters 23 and 24 Gm of distance to a slope of 165°.

It draws its name from Aitna/Aitné (Etna), the famous sicilian Volcan . Aitné was divine personification, Ouros (Mountain). It would have solved the disagreement opposing Héphaïstos to Déméter about the possession of the island. The Palici are the sicilian twin gods of the Geyser S, wire of Etna or Thalie by Zeus or Héphaïstos.
